UPDATE: BPD Investigating Overnight Burglary at Northside Convenience

Update 12:45 p.m.-The Bedford Police Department responded to a burglary at Northside Convenience at 12:52 a.m. on April 5 after receiving a commerical alarm activation from the store, according to Det. Lt. Scott Jones.  

Officers arrived moments after the alarm activation, according to Jones, but no one was found inside the store when officers arrived on scene. 

It remains unclear whether any property was taken from Northside Convenience, and the incident is under investigation by the Bedford Police Department. 

Original Post-Entry to the store was gained via a window to an office inside the store, according to scanner reports. 

The store owner was called to the scene to determine if any property had been stolen, according to the report.
