On Wednesday, we reported the Bedford Police Department is investigating a house break at 11 Reed Lane that occured on April 5. Police suspect this home break-in could be connected to others in the area, according to Det Lt. Scott Jones.Β
The Massachusetts House approved a transportation finance bill that will raise about $500 million in new taxes, according to Boston.com. 21st Middlesex District State Rep. Kenneth Gordon voted in favor of the bill. We followed up with Rep. Gordon this week to hear his explanation of his choice to vote in favor of the bill, which opposes a separate plan put forward by Gov. Deval Patrick that called for nearly $2 billion in new revenue.
