Town Of Bedford: COVID-19 Testing Kit Distribution For Seniors - Friday, January 14th

In order to provide additional COVID-19 testing options for residents, the Town of Bedford is focused on acquiring and distributing several thousand rapid testing kits to residents over the coming weeks. The first batch has been delivered.

On Friday, January 14, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., testing kits will be handed out to Bedford residents ages 60+ via a drive-through distribution event at Middlesex Community College. Due to currently limited supplies, distribution is limited to one testing kit per household (each kit contains two rapid tests).

To help avoid traffic back-ups and waiting times, pre-registration by time slot is required. Please use this link to register: https://vaccineregistration.as.me/CovidTestPickup

Distribution will occur in the parking lot in front of “Building 8.” Residents are asked to use the college’s Springs Road entrance and follow the signs toward the event, and exit via Orchard Road. The Town of Bedford thanks Middlesex Community College for its continued and invaluable collaboration in providing COVID-19 testing opportunities to the Bedford community.

The Town is also prioritizing low-income populations in separate distributions this week, and future opportunities, including in collaboration with child care facilities and the Bedford Public Schools, will be announced as soon as additional testing kits are received.
