5 Things: Wellington Meeting, Willa's Books at the Benton, Chocolate for 5th and 6th Graders
Events occurring in Belmont on April 10.

1. The Wellington School Building Committee will be holding a public meeting at 7 p.m. in the Wellington School's Community Room off Orchard Street to discuss with the neighborhood improvements it has done with the building including efforts to reduce noise coming from the school's roof mechanicals.
2. Fans of American novelist Willa Cather should head over to the Benton Library, Belmont's independent library, as the Benton Book Group will meet at 4 p.m. to discuss the writer's works, including “The Song of the Lark.” Newcomers are welcome even if they have not read a book.
3. Calling all Chenery Lower School students: Belmont Public Library staff and Vicki Frassica of A Chocolate Dream for stories and chocolate dipping for fifth and sixth graders. Space is limited! Register by calling 617-993-2880. Funded by the Friends of the Belmont Public Library.

4. Duplicate Bridge Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Beech Street Center at 266 Beech St. Every Wednesday the club holds American Contact Bridge League-sanctioned games. All are welcome to play. Cost is $5. Phone: 339-223-6484 for more information.
5. Storytime for 1's is for walkers and toddlers under 24 months. Share simple stories, songs, finger plays, nursery rhymes and puppets at 10:30 a.m. in the Flett Room across from the Children's Room at the Belmont Public Library.
