Backstage at Belmont High's 'Grease'

It is a bit of "High School Musical" and "Smash" rolled up in one as Boston FOX25 came to Belmont High School to show the behind-the-scenes preparation and staging of this school year's musical "Grease." 

As part of a partnership with Broadway in Boston and the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild in a segment called "Behind the Musical," FOX25's Sorboni Banerjee visited with the actors and Director Chris Brindley to discuss the $30,000 production – through fundraising and ticket sales – of the Broadway hit that has become a regular production by high schools across the country.
