Belmont Police Investigating Pedestrian Struck By A Motor Vehicle Case

​Police say a teen was struck by a vehicle on Lewis Road on Saturday; Mass. State Police are assisting with the investigation.

BELMONT, MA — Local and state police are investigating a crash on Lewis Road Saturday that led to a teen being taken to the hospital.

Around 11:15 a.m., police and fire and rescue teams were called to the road for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle, James MacIsaac, the town’s police chief, said. The man, 19, suffered “from serious injuries and (was) transported to an area hospital by Belmont Fire Department ALS ambulance,” he said.

Police requested the Mass. State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section to assist with the investigation.
