Worrell is currently the 16th seed in the state meet but his 6.40 second season best will make him a sprinter who could race to a very high place.
Junior Lucas Ribeiro was the top non-senior in the shot put, throwing the 12- pound ball 49 feet and a half inch, a two foot improvement on his seasons best to place 6th. Ribeiro will be seeded 18th and the fourth ranked junior in the state meet.
