Belmont Town Clerk: Still Time for Absentee Ballot for Town Election

The Belmont Town Clerk and the Board of Registrars reminds all Belmont voters of the upcoming Annual Town Election, to be held Tuesday, April 2.

And there still time to vote with an absentee ballot for this election in eight days. Complete, sign and submit an Absentee Ballot Application form, which is also available at any Town or City Clerk's Office in the state and public libraries throughout the State.

The following polling places will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. to cast your ballot:

PRECINCT 1: Belmont Memorial Library, Assembly Room, 336 Concord Ave.

PRECINCT 2: Belmont Town Hall, Selectmen’s Room, 455 Concord Ave.

PRECINCT 3 & 5: Beech Street Center, Multi-purpose Room, 266 Beech St.

PRECINCT 4: Daniel Butler School,  Gymnasium, 90 White Street

PRECINCT 6: Belmont Fire Headquarters, 299 Trapelo Rd.

PRECINCT 7: Mary Lee Burbank School, Gymnasium, 266 School St.

PRECINCT 8: Winn Brook School, Gymnasium, 97 Waterhouse Rd. (enter from Cross Street) 

Town–wide officers to be elected:  

Board of Selectmen, Moderator, Town Clerk, Board of Assessors, Board of Cemetery Commissioners, Board of Health, Housing Authority, Trustees of the Public Library (2 members) and for the School Committee (2 members)

Representative Town Meeting members for each of the eight (8) precincts of the Town: 12 elected for three year term.

Representative Town Meeting member for Precinct 1 and 4 to fill vacancies created by resignation: One to be elected for one-year term
