Hippity Hop to Annual Belmont Egg Hunt Saturday at the Chenery
Just a few thousand friends under the age of eight in a big field on a Saturday morning. Where else would you rather be?
100s of kids + 1,000s of 'eggs' in a field = a fun Saturday morning as the Belmont Activities Committee and Cambridge Trust Company sponsors the 13th Annual Belmont Egg Hunt.
The festivities – which is held rain or shine (the latest forecast is for Spring-like weather with sunny skies and about 50 degrees) – will start tomorrow, Saturday, March 30, at 10 a.m. in the Chenery Middle School field.
This year, Children's Musician Wayne Potash will be performing throughout the event.

The event is for children eight and younger; toddlers will have their own egg-ploration in the adjacent playground.
The hunt is free for all. In addition, some eggs will have something other than chocolate: there will be a few golden coins and bicycle prizes inside.

And just like last year, there will be a big bunny hopping around who will be more than happy to have its picture taken with the children.
And this is the one Belmont event to start on time: if last year is an example, every egg will be picked up within a few minutes.
Free refreshments will be provided to kids and adults.
Special thanks to Cambridge Trust Company and other 2013 donors:
