• Job Posted, Police Chief Screening Committee Underway (belmontvoice.org) — Belmont’s search for a new permanent police chief is underway, with a seven-member screening committee now reviewing applicants and aiming to recommend finalists by late March. Local leaders and residents, plus Burlington’s police chief, will evaluate candidates’ management, budgeting, and community engagement skills before the Select Board holds public interviews and makes the final choice. 
• Belmont Girls Ice Hockey Team Looks to Continue Success (belmontvoice.org) — Belmont High School’s girls hockey team is starting the 2025–26 season with a true home-ice advantage at the new Belmont Sports Complex, after years of sharing space and playing in Watertown. Coming off a strong 17-4-1 record and a deep playoff run, the Marauders face a tough schedule but are energized by a modern hometown rink and a deep mix of returning leaders and promising underclassmen.
