If you bet over the predicted six inches of snow for Belmont, you won big as a storm predicted to be over at noon today, Friday, March 8, as heavy snow is now expected to continue until the afternoon and moderate amounts to occur overnight, according to the National Weather Service.
Belmont and many municipalities are expected to see 10 to 14 inches of snow by Saturday morning as the region will continue under a Winter Storm Warning until this afternoon, said the latest report by the National Weather Service.
In Belmont, main roads are covered with slush with most secondary roadways covered and slippery, according to Belmont Department of Public Works reports.
