The Week in Review: Pool Only Vote Damages New Library Proposal

The Belmont Board of Selectmen Supporters of the library now are pushing forward on a plan to place the field at the former incinerator site.
Belmont's Selectmen put their signatures on a document indicating the town's interest in working with the state on financing and constructing a new High School. The project, with a projected price tag of $75 million, would renovate the building and add a new science wing.
Approximately 14 months since it submitted its plans to the Planning Board for review, the three building residential/retail Cushing Village development is nearing the Board's finish line as it submitted a Project Plan and the Board's chairman said he is hopeful that he can bring the development to the Town Meeting.
