$1.6 Million+ Raised At YMCA of the North Shore 'Wanderlust Ball'
Swampscott residents Jennifer Buras and Chris Carmosino were honored as this year's Honorary Chairs.

BEVERLY, MA — The YMCA of the North Shore raised more than $1.6 million and celebrated Swampscott residents Jennifer Buras and Chris Carmosino as Honorary Chairs for their long-standing commitment to the Y's mission at the annual "Wanderlust Ball" at the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA campus.
The night included dinner from Timothy S. Hopkins Catering, music from Booty Vortex and a program highlighting the Y's impact in the 25 North Shore communities where it has programming.
Buras recently concluded her five-year tenure as Chair of the Association Board and Carmosino served as Gala Chair twice.

"We are incredibly grateful to our Honorary Chairs, Jennifer and Chris who have been so supportive of our Y for so many years," YMCA of the North Shore Executive Director Chris Lovasco. "It's been a privilege to work alongside Jennifer in her various roles, and to witness firsthand her unwavering commitment to the Y and its mission.
"Her leadership and guidance has been integral to our organization's ability to remain a critical resource for so many."

"Once again, the Wanderlust Ball has proven to be a testament to the power of community, bringing together like-minded individuals whose belief in what the Y can do to support our neighbors across the North Shore and into Southern New Hampshire is unwavering," Marge Cregg, Chief Advancement Officer, YMCA of the North Shore, added. "This incredible philanthropic spirit will help the Y support the ever-growing and diverse needs of all the individuals, families, and children we serve."
