Beverly Church To Hold Special 'Longest Night' Service

Residents of all denominations are invited to a brief service of music, candlelight and reflection on Friday night.

BEVERLY, MA — The First Baptist Church of Beverly and Church in the Cove are inviting all members of the community to attend a Longest Night Service on Friday night at 7 p.m. that includes a brief service of music and candlelight, followed by time for reflection, at the First Baptist Church on Cabot Street.

"Whatever your connection to these or any other faith communities, if you are seeking a place to feel welcomed and at peace for a time, we invite you to join us for this special, standalone service," church leaders said. "Our doors are open to all who wish to pause and reflect, perhaps even rekindling the wonder, the hope and the peace that can come with this season."
