Beverly Leases Electric School Bus

The bus, which will be delivered this summer, is the first step towards Beverly's goal of having an all-electric school bus fleet.

The city will lease the bus for $24,000 per year from Highland Electric, which bought the bus and charging station with a $287,936 grant from the state's settlement with Volkswagen.
