Beverly To Offer Class On How To Treat Your Pet In An Emergency
The cat and dog CPR and First Aid class will be on Sept. 24 at the Beverly Police Station.
BEVERLY, MA — Beverly residents looking to be able to provide care in the case of a puppy or kitty emergency are invited to sign up for a Pet CPR and First Aid Certification Class scheduled for next month.
The class scheduled for Sept. 24 at the Beverly police station on Elliott Street is limited in space to the first 25 people to sign up.
Topics include CPR for cats and dogs, transport for injured pets, emergency triage, measuring vital signs, choking, allergic reactions, poisoning, shock, burns, wound care and more.

The cost is $74.95 and includes a certificate of class completion, an eBook copy of the textbook, and a two-year subscription to an online animal resource center.
