Two Salem Men, Two Juveniles Arrested After Beverly Robbery
Police said the victim was pulled a vehicle, punched repeatedly and hit in the head with a gun.
BEVERLY, MA — Two Salem men, a juvenile boy and a juvenile girl are facing charges after an armed robbery on County Way in Beverly Sunday night. Police said the victim was pulled a vehicle, punched repeatedly and hit in the head with a gun. After being called to County Way, police searched the area and ordered some residents of a nearby apartment complex out of their homes until the arrests were made.
Luis Angel Braude, 30, Jovan Cortes Amaral, 18, both of Salem, and a male juvenile were charged with armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The female juvenile was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
The incident occurred around 6:35 p.m. Sunday. The victim told police he had been driven there by his girlfriend. Once there, three men knocked on the car window. They then opened the door, pulled him out of the car and began punching him.

The men took the victim's backpack. When he tried to grab it back, one of them pointed what he believed to be a gun at him, then hit him with the weapon. The men fled on foot on a fire road. The victim's girlfriend fled in her car, police said in a statement.
Police found all four suspects in a home on Manor Road. The victim was taken to Beverly Hospital for treatment.

Police ordered residents out of the Apple Village on Manor Road after reports the suspects had fled into the apartment complex. Massachusetts State Police, North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council S.W.A.T. and Danvers and Salem police assisted in the search.
