Beverly, Salem Joint Styrofoam Recycling Event Set For 2025

Residents from both cities are invited to drop off items at Beverly High School on Jan. 11.

BEVERLY, MA — Residents of Beverly and Salem are invited to save Styrofoam rigid packaging from holiday purchases and drop it off for free recycling at a joint event set for January.

The event is scheduled for Beverly High School on Sohier Road from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 11.

Early drop-off is also available at the Beverly Public Library on Jan. 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Packaging "peanuts" and food containers cannot be accepted at this event.

The recycling event is part of the Resilient Together collaboration between both cities designed to take joint steps to address climate change and impact along their shared coastline.
