Beverly Snow Emergency Parking Ban Begins At Midnight Friday night

All vehicles parked on city public streets are subject to ticketing and towing.

BEVERLY, MA — A snow emergency parking ban was declared in Beverly on Friday ahead of a storm expected to bring a messy mix of snow, sleet and ice overnight.

The ban was set to begin at midnight Friday night and extend until further notice.

There will be no parking allowed on any municipal streets. Violators shall be subjected to ticketing and/or towing.

Municipal lots are available for those who have no other accommodations. Meter fees must be paid during normal meter hours. Use one of the city's many kiosks or download the GoParkIt app.

The MBTA garage located on Rantoul Street is available to residents at a discounted rate. Use the PayByPhone app to pay for garage parking. Access to the MBTA garage, at a discounted rate, will be after 8 p.m. on Friday.

Short-term parking downtown will be allowed during business hours. Overnight parking will not be allowed.

Residents are asked to help keep snow clear from fire hydrants and catch basins and are reminded that it is illegal to dump snow into the street.

Residents are asked to remove any basketball hoops from the street ahead of a plowable storm.
