Short-term parking downtown will be allowed during business hours. Overnight parking will not be allowed.

"There were several comments made on the department Facebook page that the police department isn't tagging and towing on side streets," Beverly police said. "Unfortunately our four-officer team had to focus on the downtown area because there were so many violations and the streets are so tight and need to be cleared.
