Beverly Teachers Announce Back to School Supply Lists

Gone are the days of a pencil and paper being all the kids need for back to school. 

Students in Beverly are no exception; teachers around the city have been compiling supply lists, and we're making sure you got the memo.

Centerville and North Beverly Elementary are listed below: 

Centerville Elementary:

Kindergarten:

• 2 sets of FAT Crayola crayons – basic 8 color set
• 1 set low odor, fat dry-erase markers
• 1 dry erase board eraser
• 2 large Elmer’s glue sticks
• 1 large backpack (labeled) without wheels

First Grade:

• 1 Three ring, one inch hard cover binder
• 4 Two pocket folders (paper – red, yellow, green. blue)
• 1 Two pocket homework folder (any color or design, please put your name on it)
• 1 Box (24 count) Crayola crayons
• 1 Package of eraser toppers
• 5 Bottles of Elmer’s school glue
• 10 Elmer’s glue sticks
• 1 Pair of child safety scissors
• 2 Low Odor dry erase white board markers
• 1 Clean sock for white board eraser
• 1 Hand pencil sharpener (that collects the shavings)
• 1 Box of tissues
• Clorox disinfectant wipes
• 1 Large pencil box to hold supplies
• 1 Box of #2 pencils, sharpened

Second Grade:

• 1 Box (24) Crayola crayons
• 1 Box (12 or more) Crayola colored pencils
• 1 Box washable thin markers
• 5+ glue sticks (no names on them)
• 1 pair of child-safe scissors
• 1 yellow highlighter
• 25+ Sharpened #2 pencils
• 1 hand pencil sharpener that collects shavings
• Erasers
• 1 pencil box to hold all above materials
• 1 three-ring binder (Avery clear view white – 1 inch)
• 4 black composition notebooks (200 page college/wide ruled)
• 1 clipboard
• 1 “Special” two-pocket homework folder
• 2+ low-odor white board markers
• 1 pair of clean socks
• 2 large boxes of tissues
• 3+ containers of disinfectant wipes
• 1 container of play-doh

Third Grade:

Fourth Grade:

• 1 pencil bag (not a box, please)

• 1 white, 1 inch, clear view 3 ring binder with 5 subject dividers

Fifth Grade: 

•  inch binder with lined paper and 5 subject dividers

• 1 package blue or black erasable pens

• 1 pencil bag (not a box, please)
