Beverly Teen Named Junior Miss Hampton Beach
It was the first-ever pageant for a Beverly teenager, who was named Junior Miss Hampton Beach.
A 15-year-old Beverly High School student has been crowned Junior Miss Hampton Beach in New Hampshire.
Alyssa Croft took the Junior Miss Hampton Beach title, for ages 10-15, last weekend.
The competition on Saturday was part of the Miss Hampton Beach competition. There were 15 competitors who were each scored based on wearing athletic wear and beachwear, an evening gown and an interview.

Croft told Seacoast Online that it was her first pageant and she found out about it from her grandmother, who lives in neighboring Seabrook, N.H.
“I love modeling, I love runway walking and stuff like that, dressing up,” she told Seacoast Online.
