City Of Beverly: Message From Mayor Cahill (1/4)

See the latest announcement from City of Beverly.

January 4, 2022

Hi.  This is Mayor Mike Cahill with a Tuesday evening update on this week’s trash, recycling, and Christmas tree pickup.  JRM, the city’s waste and recycling hauler, is currently very shorthanded due to COVID.  They are behind on their Monday and Tuesday trash and recycling routes, and they have not been able to pick up any trees yet this week.

With that said, please put your trash and recycling out on your scheduled day – and note that this week is a regular week in the calendar.  JRM is working hard to get caught up.  As for trees, JRM does not know when they’ll be able to start picking up.

We are meeting with them again tomorrow late afternoon, and we will update you as soon as possible.  Please make sure your trash is secured and covered, and please do not leave it outside overnight if you are able to put it back out first thing in the morning.  Also, please help your neighbors if you can.

Thank you, All, for your patience and your help.
