BEVERLY, MA — Beverly families are invited to enjoy a spooky and safe night of fun with the return of the Downtown Trick-or-Treat.

This year's event will run from 4 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 23.

Children and families in costume will be able to trick-or-treat at downtown businesses on Cabot Street, Rantoul Street, Park Street and adjoining streets in between. Cabot Street will be closed to regular traffic from Pond Street to Railroad Avenue from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Rantoul Street will remain open to vehicular traffic.

Participating businesses will have the Trick-or-Treat flyer in the window with non-brick-and-mortar businesses able to set up a table on Cabot Street or the City Hall lawn on a first-come, first-served basis. This option is also open to businesses and organizations with a brick-and-mortar outside the event footprint (from Pond Street to Railroad Avenue).
