Kids Reported Car Surfing On Brimbal Avenue

The following is an excerpt from the log:
Tuesday, Aug. 20
- A verbal argument between siblings was reported at McDonalds at 2:07 p.m.
- Two vehicles were reported vandalized at 3:35 p.m. on South Street.
- Police were called to a dispute outside Northridge Road at 5:51 p.m. Jerrone Green, 28, of 102 Northridge Rd., was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
- Police arrested Stephen Hardy, 26, listed as homeless, at 11:19 p.m. on warrant charges.

- Police were called to Colgate Street at 1:08 a.m. on report of a suspicious person looking through vehicles, and a possible break-in. Police searched the area but did not locate the person in question.
- Police were called to a possible domestic disturbance on Bennett Street at 8:51 a.m. Police reports stated it was not a domestic dispute; the argument was over one individual not doing his chores.
- An argument was reported outside on Summit Ave. at 11:50 a.m.
- Two snow plows were reported stolen from Tandem Equipment Sales on Tozer Road at 12:58 p.m.
- A shell casing that appeared unsafe was turned in by a citizen and transported to the Mass. State Police bomb squad in Danvers for destruction at 2:31 p.m. The shell casing was decorative and was deemed to be not a hazard.
- Jewelry was reported stolen from a residence on Essex Street at 5:35 p.m.
- A McKay Street residence was believed to be broken into at 6:57 p.m. Police said windows had been broken.
- A bicycle was reported stolen on Cabot Street at 7:33 p.m.
- Fireworks were reported on Dodge Street at 9:03 p.m.
- Men were reported drinking on the sidewalk on Essex Street at 9:21 p.m. Police sent them on their way.
- Police dispersed a loud group on Dane Street at 11:07 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 22
- Kids 'car surfing' was reported to police at 12:31 a.m. on Brimbal Avenue. The kids in question were gone when police arrived.
- At 4:03 a.m. police were called to Cabot Street on report of a man walking back and forth dragging a chain outside, which woke the caller. Police spoke with the individual, who they had observed dragging the chain on the ground, and sent him on his way.
- Police were called to Rantoul Street on report of two men arguing at 5:45 p.m. Police did not locate the two in question.
Friday, Aug. 23

- A vehicle's tires were reported slashed on Robinson Rd. at 8:36 a.m.
