Library Closed All Day Wednesday for Construction

Beverly Public Library is closed all day on Wednesday, July 30, for construction work on the building.

The library had planned to open late, at 11 a.m., because of the work but then announced on Wednesday morning that it would instead be closed all day.

“We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work on improving our library,” the library said in a statement.

The $2.6 million project is planned to replace leaking skylights, replace the front steps and make other repairs.
