Make A Joyful Noise! At The Cabot in Beverly
Symphony By The Sea captivated audiences at The Cabot with a Bach family concert. Conductor Palmer's insights.

On Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 The Cabot Theatre in Beverly gave its audience a rare opportunity to experience the beauty of J.S. Bach and his sons’ compositions, leaving the audience with a sense of the transcendent power of music. Donald Palmer, the accomplished Symphony By The Sea

The shining stars of the evening were the guest musicians from Japan, Oboist Keisuke Wakao,2, and his daughter, Keila Wakao, a gifted young Violinist. The love shared by Father and Daughter made the music soar, and one could feel the audience’s rapt attention as the Father and Daughter played Bach’s Concerto For Oboe And Violin In C Minor. Their encore of “Jesu, Joy Of Man’s Desiring” was the perfect way to conclude the Concert. Everyone in the audience was profoundly affected. A Joyful Event, Indeed!
