New Lynch Playground to Get Visit From State Leaders
The new playground at Lynch Park in Beverly was built with some state funding from the Our Common Backyards program.
Massachusetts Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Maeve Vallely Bartlett is scheduled to come to Beverly on Tuesday to tour Lynch Park with Mayor Michael Cahill.
Bartlett is expected to see the new playground that has been built using money from the state Our Common Backyards program and “highlight the….state’s ongoing investments in parks and open space.”
Before her 12:45 p.m. visit to Beverly, she will be in Salem at Winter Island Park to announce grants for parks and recreation projects in Salem, Newbury, Lawrence, Lynn and Beverly.
