'One Of A Kind': Beverly Local Hero

BEVERLY, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. But rarely do they get the spotlight they deserve. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've begun an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Kathryn Beaman nominated Kimberly Coelho, a family friend who was there in times of need.

"Along with supporting and spending much quality time with her family, this woman has worked hard to help the community and those in need, including my family," Beaman said. "We lost our mother and she's done nothing but be helpful and reached out to my family and others."

Beaman said one thing to know about Coelho is: "How selfless she is. One of a kind."
