
The on-street snow emergency parking ban in Beverly has ended.
Residents were alerted to the ban with flashing blue lights at major intersections in the city, a Swift 911 phone call and a message on the city website on Tuesday morning.
The ban was announced at about 11 a.m. and was put into place starting at 8 p.m. on Tuesday under the orders of Commissioner of Public Services and Engineering Michael Collins.

On Wednesday morning, on the city's snow emergency hotline, it was announced the parking ban had ended.
