Parking Ban to Start Tuesday Night

There will be an on-street snow emergency parking ban in Beverly starting on Tuesday night.

There will be an on-street parking ban in Beverly starting at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the city’s Department of Public Services.

The ban was announced on Tuesday morning on the city's website and was put into place under the orders of Commissioner of Public Services and Engineering Michael Collins. It will run until it is lifted by Collins. The ban is expected to last up to 48 hours.

The parking ban is designed to allow plow crews to get the road clear of snow. Anywhere between 6-10 inches of snow is expected to fall by midday on Wednesday.
