Massachusetts has fully vaccinated 1 million of its nearly 7 million residents, Gov. Charlie Baker announced Friday morning.

"Massachusetts has now fully vaccinated over 1 million people and continues to be a national leader in vaccine administration," Baker tweeted. "Thank you to everyone who has supported this progress!"

A vast majority of those fully vaccinated have received two doses of either the Moderna of Pfizer vaccines as opposed to the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
