Boston Firefighters Rescue Person, Cat In Dot Triple-Decker Fire
The Dorchester fire caused close to a half-million dollars worth of damage, according to Boston fire officials.

BOSTON — One person was rescued and taken to the hospital and four people were displaced during a two alarm fire in Dorchester Monday.
Fire officials estimate damages around $400,000. It's not clear what started the fire, but when firefighters arrived just before 6:30 a.m., they were met with heavy smoke and flames coming from the third floor of a three-family home.
