Michael Kelleher, Missing Southborough Man, Found Dead In Charles River, Family Confirms
Police say they recovered the body of an adult male from the Charles River in Boston Sunday morning.

BOSTON, MA — The body of missing Southborough man Michael Kelleher was pulled from the Charles River on Sunday morning. According to Massachusetts State Police, at around 9:10 a.m. a witness saw a body in the eastern end of Charles River at the locks. Several minutes later, authorities recovered the body.
Police have made a preliminary identification but official confirmation of that identification is pending. However, Kelleher's family issued a statement confirming that his body had been pulled from the river.
“It is with great sadness that we have to share with you that our son Michael Kelleher has passed. Sadly, Michael was claimed by the Charles River the night of his disappearance. At 8:00 this morning, the river gave him back to us,” Lori and Mike Kelleher, the man's parents, said in a statement posted to Facebook.

Kelleher, 23, was last seen leaving leaving a Celtics Game at TD Garden in late March.
The manner and cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner. The investigation is ongoing.
