Boston Calling 2020: How To Get Tickets, Single Day, 3 Day

Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers are headliners for the 2020 Boston Calling. Here's how to get tickets.

BOSTON — If you're looking to get a single day tickets for Boston's three-day music festival, now's your chance: They go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., the organization announced today.

Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers will be headlining the festival, this year, organizers confirmed recently.

Like the past few years, the festival is happening at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, on Memorial Day Weekend, May 22, 23 and 24, a few blocks from the Red Line MBTA stop.

Single Day General Admission tickets are going for $150 for "Tier 1", VIP Passes are listed at $350, and Platinum Passes for $750 at www.bostoncalling.com.

Availability of those $150 Tier 1 tickets is limited, according to organizers. Once Tier 1 tickets sell out, Tier 2 pricing will go into effect for Single Day General Admission ($159.99), VIP ($399.99), and Platinum ($799.99).

A limited number of 3-Day General Admission ($399.99), VIP Passes ($949.99), and Platinum Passes ($1,999.99) are also on sale now.

Lineup:

The headliners are three bands made popular in the 1990s, Foo Fighters kick off day 1 on Friday, May 22 followed by Rage Against The Machine on Saturday, May 23, and then Red Hot Chili Peppers will round out the festival on Sunday, May 24.

But, true to Boston Calling form, that's not all. Organizers say more than 60 artists, musicians and comedians have signed up to perform across the festival’s five stages. Look for the likes of The 1975, Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Run The Jewels, Brittany Howard, Banks, Liam Gallagher, Noname, Angels & Airwaves.

How to get there:

Might be worth planning how to get there now.

  • Near the Red Line? Take the Red Line and get off at the Harvard Square stop. Find N. Harvard Street and walk over the bridge to the Allston side, it's about a 10 minute walk.
  • If you're coming from Jamaica Plain? Take the 39 to the 66 and get off at North Harvard Street and Western Ave.
  • If you're coming from Dorchester? Take the Red Line to Central, switch to the 66 or stay on til Harvard Square.
  • Coming from Cleveland Circle? Take the 86
  • Coming from Coolidge Corner? Take the 66.
  • There will also be designated taxi and ride-share service drop off areas.
  • Don't drive. It's not worth it: There is no parking.
