Man Finds $1,000 In The Woods, Returns To Owner
After the money was returned, the man realized he had once met the woman who lost it.
BEDFORD – A Lexington woman who lost $1,000 while on a walk in the woods got it back when a man walking the same trail found it and got police to help return it.
“A $100 bill is something you really can spot from a long way away,” said Steve Kissel of Bedford. “As I got closer it was multiple $100 bills. As I got closer it was even more.”
Oddly enough, it turned out that Kissel had met the woman before.
