Man Shot In Dorchester Parking Lot Dies: Police

BOSTON, MA — A man shot in a parking lot in Dorchester made his way into the lobby of a hotel, where police found him late Monday. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Police were called to 800 Morrissey Boulevard around 11:45 p.m. when they got there, they found the man lying on the ground inside of the lobby. Police are now asking anyone with information about the shooting to call Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.

Over the weekend from Friday to Monday morning Boston police said there was only one shooting and it was nonfatal. There were 11 stabbings reported.

So far this year there have been more than 30 homicides in Boston, according to the District Attorney's office.
