Plane Bound For Istanbul Makes Emergency Landing At Boston Logan

Flight trackers show that flight THY4 out of JFK flew past Boston before turning around and landing.

BOSTON — A Turkish Airlines flight out of JFK on its way to Istanbul had to turn around and make an emergency landing at Boston airport. According to arrival data, the flight landed at 2:16 p.m.

A MassPort representative confirmed that the plane diverted and landed at Logan.

It's unclear why it made the unexpected landing.
