Boston Mayor Marty Walsh Gives 2017 State of the City Address

The annual speech was streamed live.

BOSTON, MA — Boston Mayor Marty Walsh gives the final State of the City Speech of his first term in office tonight, an annual tradition that will be streaming live this time around.

The speech is a chance for Walsh to position his legacy after four years, and ahead of November's mayoral election. So far, his competition is fellow Democrat Tito Jackson, a City Councilor who announced his candidacy last week.

If you're playing "SOTC2017" Bingo, here are a few key topics you can expect the mayor to hit: Imagine Boston 2030, General Electric, this week's impending inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump (no favorite of Walsh's), immigration, housing affordability and probably GE again, for good measure.
