Trader Joe's Set To Open Latest MA Store This Week

BOSTON, MA — When one big-name retailer closes, another one enters. At least, that's the case in West Roxbury this week.

Trader Joe's is set to open on Thursday at 1999 Centre St., the former home of a Walgreens store that closed about a year ago.

Hours for the new Trader Joe's will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Sunday.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is slated for 8:55 a.m. on Thursday ahead of the store opening its doors for the first time.

According to the grocer's website, Trader Joe's operates stores in 21 cities and towns across Massachusetts. The West Roxbury location will be its fourth in Boston.
