Hanson Plane Crash: 2 GoFundMe Campaigns Started
The crash took the life of Scott Landis and his brother Patrick Landis is paralyzed from the waist down, according to their aunt.

HANSON, MA — The aunt of the two passengers of a plane that crashed at Cranland Airport in Hanson has started a GoFundMe campaign to help the surviving victim.
Patrick Landis suffered a broken back, severed spinal cord, and several broken bones, according to his aunt Marie Conway Real. He is also paralyzed from the waist down and is on a ventilator.
Landis' brother, Scott Landis, died in the crash. The two were taking off to spread their fathers ashes when the engine of the 1946 Aeronca 7CA failed, according to Conway Real.

"My sister, his mom, lost her husband of 40 years, her 1st born son 10 days later and is now going to need to take care of her paralyzed son. Please consider donating. They need all the help they can get," Conway wrote.

The campaign has a goal of $250,000. Click here to give.
A second campaign has been started to help the family of Scott Landis and has a goal of $40,000.
"(Scott) was unfortunately met with a horrific tragedy and taken from this Earth far too soon. He left behind his loving wife, Staci, and beautiful child, Jack, who could really use your help in this difficult time. This family has experienced emotionally exhausting and financial burdening few months, so any size donation you could offer would be greatly appreciated," Tony Celia wrote.
