Whitman CVS Robbery Suspects Caught On Camera, Police Say
The woman grabbed merchandise and the man pulled what looked like a pistol, police said.

WHITMAN, MA — A man pulled a pistol on a CVS clerk who tried to stop the woman he was with from stealing, police said.
The couple walked into the Bedford Street CVS shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday and the woman started grabbing items and stashing them in her bag, according to a media release from the Whitman Police Department.

"When confronted by a store employee, the man brandished what appeared to be a black, semi-automatic handgun from his sweatshirt pocket," the release said.

"The employee then ran into an office and called 911," according to the release.
The couple fled, heading toward a nearby McDonald's, the release said.

Police searched but the man and woman evaded detection, according to the release.

"Anyone who is able to identify them or has information about this incident is asked to call the Whitman Police Department at 781-447-1212," the release said.
