2 Men Accused Of Illegal Firearm Possession In Brookline

Gidel Aguasvivas and Peter Martinez are facing charges including Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.

BROOKLINE, MA — Two men are accused of illegally possessing firearms and ammunition in Brookline, according to the Boston Police Department.

Gidel Aguasvivas, 19 and Peter Martinez, 32, of Maryland are facing charges including two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.

On Tuesday around 7 p.m., officers assigned to the Youth Violence Strike Force and Massachusetts State Police responded to the Hilton Garden Inn in Brookline, located at 700 Brookline Avenue, for a drug and firearm investigation.

Officers recovered recovered two firearms, various narcotics, and boxes of ammunition, resulting in the arrest of Martinez and Aguasvivas, police said.
