The 2022 U.S. Open: How Brookline Residents Can Stay Informed

Next year's U.S. Open will be played at The Country Club from June 13-19, 2022.

BROOKLINE, MA — The Town of Brookline has shared ways that community members can stay informed about the 2022 U.S. Open, set to take place at The Country Club from June 13 to 19.

The 2022 U.S. Open will be the fourth U.S. Open in the club’s history and its 17th USGA championship. The championship was last played in Brookline during summer 1988 and the first U.S. Open at The Country Club in 1913 remains one of the most significant events in golf, when Brookline amateur golfer Francis Ouimet won over Harry Vardon and Ted Ray.

"Planning for the 2022 U.S. Open is well underway,” said Town Administrator Mel Kleckner in a statement. "We look forward to this historic event and want to make sure that all those affected are informed every step of the way. Community members are encouraged to take advantage of the multiple channels available to help keep them up-to-date."
