Bank Robbery Details Arise After Quincy Couple Charged
Robber said that he had a gun in note to bank employee
A 25-year-old male and 54-year-old woman from Quincy have been arraigned at the Brookline District Court.
A bank employee at TD Bank at 1641 Beacon St. called the Brookline Police Department at 10:38 a.m. on Dec. 17 to report a bank robbery taking place. A note to the employee from a man said that he had a gun, but the weapon remained hidden.
Police stopped the getaway vehicle at near Brookline Village at Willow Pond Road and Jamaica way, and arrested the woman driver and a man hiding in the back seat. Both are being charged with armed robbery.
