Brookline Arts Center Announces Open Call For Artists, Curators

The deadline for both calls is Sunday, October 30.

BROOKLINE, MA — The Brookline Arts Center (BAC) has announced two open calls, a Call for Art and a Call for Curators, for its 2023 exhibition program.

For the Call For Art, artists and artist groups of all media residing in New England are invited to submit work. Exhibitions take place four times a year. Each exhibit will receive a $500 stipend.

To apply, artists must submit a resume, artist statement, images, and their gallery preference. The materials can be emailed in a PDF format to office@brooklineartscenter.com.

The Call for Curators is part of the BAC’s inaugural competitive curatorial program CURATE BAC, which will support the career development of a Boston area curator. One curatorial resident will be accepted into the program and will work collaboratively with the BAC to create the 2023 program. The selected curator will receive a $2000 stipend.
