This Brookline Event Looks To Be Fun And Educational
Spring Fest is returning for its fourth iteration.
BROOKLINE, MA — The town’s Annual Spring Fest is returning on Saturday, May 31.
The three-hour event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at the Olmsted Park Allerton Overlook on Pond Avenue. The Department of Public Works is putting the event together for its fourth consecutive year.
Families are invited to learn about the climate and environment through multiple interactive activities such as a tree identification walk. The activities will be accompanied by food and live music. The event is anchored by a poster creation contest. Contestants are asked to create a work that depicts environmental progress and a “green vision” for the town.
Spring Fest is sponsored by the Emerald Necklace Conservancy, Brookline GreenSpace Alliance, Brookline Mothers Out Front and Brookline Rotary Club. It is free and open to the public.
