Brookline Police Looking To Identify Possible Vehicle Thief
The person is being accused of stealing cash from a car.

BROOKLINE, MA — The police department is looking to identify a person it believes was involved in a motor vehicle theft and larceny incident that took place in the vicinity of South Brookline in the early morning hours of Saturday, Dec. 13.
The person was captured on surveillance footage and is described as a light-skinned man who was last seen wearing a blue jacket, a purple hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and a dark-colored backpack.
According to police, the person stole $100 from the car while it was parked in the owner's driveway at approximately 4:15 a.m.

Community members with relevant information are being asked to contact detectives at 617-730-2613. The department emphasized that the person of interest is not considered "wanted" at this time.
