BROOKLINE, MA — The police department is looking to identify a person it believes was involved in a larceny incident that took place at a jewelry store on Thursday, Aug. 7.The person was captured on surveillance footage recently. According to police, the person is believed to be a black male. He was captured on camera wearing a camouflage baseball hat, sunglasses, a black t-shirt, dark shorts, and sneakers.$5,000 worth of jewelry was reportedly taken in the theft.Community members with relevant information can contact Brookline detectives at 617-730-2711. The department emphasized the person is not "wanted" at this time.
