Brookline Police Raising Awareness For Child Exploitation

The department is partnering with a nonprofit organization to host an educational seminar on the topic.

BROOKLINE, MA — The Brookline Police Department is hosting an informational session about preventing child exploitation on Thursday, Jan. 23.

The free event is being held in recognition of Human Trafficking Awareness Month. It is slated to begin at 10 a.m. at the community center on 1 Hancock Village Drive.

The police department is working with Boston-based nonprofit My Life My Choice to make the seminar happen. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the most common and most dangerous forms of exploitation, indicators that a child may be getting groomed, and how to respond in a situation where a child may be in danger.
